Aquaculture

Comprised of five prawn farms located in the SOCKSARGEN region that have a total watered area of around 50 hectares which can culture a total annual volume of 50 metric tons of Black Tiger Shrimp and 600 metric tons of Vannamei, also known as white shrimp.

In addition, RDEX operates nursery and hatchery facilities and cultured fish ponds. The fish ponds operate within a total watered area of 3.86 hectares and provide an annual harvest of 1,100 metric tons of finished product/produce/cultured fish.

Agriculture

The division includes the raising of livestock around the hillsides of General Santos city. Orchards and farms produce organic fruits and vegetables that thrive in the volcanic-rich soil.

Processing

Consists of two integrated processing plants with FFP-860 EU Accreditation that cater to the individual processing needs of customers for both international and domestic markets.

Each plant is highly equipped with facilities such as blast freezers, contact plate freezers and vacuum machines. RDEX was the first in General  Santos City to acquire a spiral individually quick-frozen (IQF) machine with an hourly capacity of 500 kilograms per hour or a daily capacity of 12 metric tons. This has enabled RDEX to be more competitive and offer a higher standard of quality and freshness.

Each plant has a production capacity of 10 metric tons daily which consists of a combination of fresh frozen fish and other raw marine materials. With its highly equipped facilities, RDEX is able to guarantee superior product quality and a consistent supply of raw materials.

Cold Storage

These facilities consist of 16 cold storage rooms that are capable of providing a capacity of 5,000 metric tons daily. The cold storage facilities cater not only to the demands of RDEX but also to the cold storage requirements within the local economy/business sector.

Ice Plant

With a total combined production of 1,944 ice blocks daily and the capacity to produce 240 metric tons daily of ice blocks.

     RDEX has been greatly known through its wide distribution market both for the International and Local. The company had been distributing their quality products throughout USA, Japan, Southeast Asia and Europe.  

     For its domestic market, it is widely coursed through the existence of their stand-alone stores, the  RDEX Tuna Shops, which are situated nationwide. They are also widespread through its presence in the supermarkets of some well known Malls in the Philippines and through its authorized dealers, who are likely visible also all over the regions.

RDEX Food International Philippines, Inc  is the first fresh frozen company in General Santos City to own a Spiral Freezer. This quick-freezing facility has a 500 kilograms capacity per hour or 12 metric tons per day. Along this equipment, the company has also the following facilities used in the processing:
